internet radio suggestions

There's this guy, you know? He does the best show ever on actual radio, and then puts old shows up on the net and you can, like, stream them. No, really, it's all legal, and there are literally thousands of hours of music over at
Crap From the Past.
Other good friends, with equally strange childhoods that caused major deviations in their musical taste, are over at
Cosmic Slop.
Aw heck, trot on over to
KFAI.org, the bestest independent radio station in the Twin Cities. And, if you're bored with that, try WFMU, a splendid radio station out of New Jersey. Their blog is unreal. Third link, up there at the top.

Pandora.com and blip.fm are also great. You can customize them with what you want to listen to almost piece together your own soundtrack.

Jango is the best online radio I've found, it's free and legal. You can create your own channels by choosing artists you like to stream. It streams those and related ones. It's great for finding new music as well.

I will never know myself until I do this on my own

I second Pandora.

http://www.pandora.com

It's the best. It also has a semi-disturbing tendancy to play music that matches what you're writing. This didn't just happen to me, it happened to someone else I know as well...

Anyways. Pandora is amazing and whatnot.

I found Limbik Frequencies through iTunes (www.limbikfreq.com), sort of like tuning in to a continuing rave without all the cigarette smoke.

Totally Pandora. Seriously AMAZING! :)

Project Playlist, too, if you want to listen to specific songs or make a soundtrack for your writing time.
