To all Action/Drama Plot writers. Are you stuck too?

Ok I'm writing this screenplay/novel. I'm not sure what direction I'm going, as a novel is almost done, but I see a potential for a very good Screenplay, however I'm making it very short since I'm running out of ideas and nothings good is coming into my head right now? If you are stuck too, maybe we can brainstorm together.

Hi Luna..

I'm sure that you're not alone.. Me, myself, haven't sure enough what will I write for this time. What I know just the concept, and I still haven't got any idea for the plotlines! Hope we can discuss together! :D

Hugs to all those who are stuck!

I too have hit that way-too-sturdy brick wall of frustration. Hopefully, after a good night's sleep, my mind will be refreshed and ready to go.

A tip: if you play music, try playing something random. It works out kinks.

Good luck!

RE: To all Action/Drama Plot writers. Are you stuck too?

Here are my thoughts on screenplays (and novels and pretty much all writing projects). When you get stuck it's usually because you don't have an ending. When you don't have a direction to go in you end up with too many ideas going all over the place. You should have a good ending - don't worry if it's not great - that's what RE-WRITES are for! The other thing that I think a lot of writers fail to do is read. You can read ANYTHING. Ideas often come from things that you've read - and of course, don't steal anyone's ideas! What reading should do for you is allow your mind to open and come up with creative ideas on your own. It's been the single most helpful thing to me in writing the screenplays that I have. The second most helpful thing has been events in my own life. I really hope this helps you!

Great advice, flex!

I would add that you need to have at least one or two really good 3D characters in order to push the plot along.

Also, something which has helped me, learn to turn off your Internal Editor and just write. You can write ANYTHING. No-one will see it if you don't show it so GET WRITING.

And, most important of all, HAVE FUN. If you don't, then your readers certainly won't!

Off to have fun!

Hello luna, all writers hit snags, even the best laid plans can tread water or stagnate.

I'm afraid without knowing your story direction or theme I'm not much help to advise creatively abut solutions, give me a message if you want to share with me.

I am a part time consultant for script doctoring, but i won't charge you anything for a friendly look at the idea and what you're stumbling over.

Have you ever wondered what makes a printplace coupon code tick? At the jet propulsion institute, scientists have been looking at psprint coupon markets and have found them wanting. Nevertheless, a review of ediets soon created a level playing field. We can only hope that the same thing happens for norton 360 discount in the near future.

RE: To all Action/Drama Plot writers. Are you stuck too?

Action drama is really not easy to write but it is interesting too. it does not make you feel boring while you are indulged in this charisma. Two years back when i took a turn from situational comedy to action scripting it was not less than a challenge for me but i accomplished :)
the secret behind was i never tried to impose crafting on my imagination flow. just fly with your concepts and it will end you with a remarkable script.
believe it...
