What's your favorite?

Which script writing program is your favorite/easiest to use? I was looking at the free programs they have listed on this site but just don't know which one to go with. I d/l the celtix one but I'm having a hard time figuring it out. What are you all using?

RE: What's your favorite?

I've been using Word Perfect, which technicly isn't a script writing program, but it works for me.

RE: What's your favorite?

I use Celtx, I thought it was really easy to figure out. I wrote a play using it, and it worked just fine for me. You might want to give it another go, I thought it was really easy to use.

Just remember to press enter before you change what you're writing (character/dialogue/stage direction etc.)
That's what I didn't realize at first, but I got it soon enough. :D

I already had First Draft so I'm just using that - but a Scriptbuddy has been using the Celtx and is loving it.

RE: What's your favorite?

I, too, had trouble with Celtx at first. I tried to figure it out during SF the first year; at a time when I was also trying to figure out how to even write a script.

But if you try to learn it when the pressure's off, it's much easier. The video tutorials are helpful. I actually had an easier time using the movie scripting than the stage play scripting--not sure why.

But now, I like Celtx a lot. It's a great tool.

RE: What's your favorite?

I've only used Celtx, and I like it well enough. It took me a moment to figure out how to work it, and even now I'm not sure if I'm doing everything right. But it works for me! I even used it to write a screen script for a class project. Go, Celtx.
