Hello all.

I'm just in the middle of writing a scene where my character wakes up. The first three wake-up scenes in my script are really similar, but I want different songs playing during each.

In the first one, I had "I CAN TELL THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE FRIENDS" playing. The last one is going to have "SCHOOL DAYS" playing. However, I need a song for the middle one... Any suggestions?

I don't want it to be too loud, but not really soft and quiet and slow either. Similar to the two listed above would be nice.

I heard this once on Kyle XY. I always thought it was a good "morning song" if you just listen to the first part. Just depends on how far you need the music to go.

Wow, I had the exact same problem... I asked one of my writing buddies (i am eternally grateful!!)

Anyway, yeah, We are gonna be friends by white Stripes was going to be my song, but I ended up choosing 1,2,3,4 by Plain White T's.

Another good one is 20 Dollar Nose Bleed by Fall Out Boy, but that one's only good for the happy skippy beat... the words don't really fit. LOLZ

Anyway, another good one is My Best Friend by Weezer. That's a really amazing song, with a happy upbeat kinda thing going on.

Cleveland Rocks by Presidents of the U S of A is a good one, too, for a cool restless kind of feel.

It may be a bit to literal, but what about Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles?

it is one of the great song suggestion that i liked too. there are a lot of options that you may use for your script but that one is perfect.
