The Archaic Form of Paper!

I always seem to start these threads on Nanowrimo too. LOL

I don't have a laptop and I share a computer. So if I want to be able to write freely - I have to use paper and pen/pencil.

Though it means having to type it up later, I actually like the freedom it gives me. I can be anywhere and work on my script. At work, in my car pool, at the swimming pool, ect. Anyone else with me?

RE: The Archaic Form of Paper!

Actually, for Screnzy you won't have to type it up later. You can just scan your pages into a PDF document. Though if you feel bad knowing that 100 handwritten pages != 100 script pages, I'd suggest you write a little bit more.

Oh, but yeah, I'm using computers and Celtx to write, though I'd much rather be using my SM4.

RE: The Archaic Form of Paper!

That's true. I didn't think about scanning the pages. Though I plan to write over. I seem to be a page or so under my handwriting.

Ah! And thank-you for that link! That looks useful!

RE: The Archaic Form of Paper!

How would you make the pages into a PDF? I know you'd scan it, but what software would you use to make a PDF?

A lot of scanning software will automatically output to PDF. All the scanners at my office do!

RE: The Archaic Form of Paper!

I agree with writing by hand. It was soo much easier to stay up late (and stay focus) with just a pen and paper.

But when I told my mom that my 110 script was hand written i swear her face whitened. I'm like ''no this is a good thing!! there are tons of other people doing it too!! Plus, I don't even have to worry about loosing it if i don't push that magical 'save' button!!''
