70 page Shout-out!

I didn't see one, so I made one. :)
I made a PDF of my script, and found I had an extra 4 pages. This had nothing to do with front pages, character lists or anything (I'm using Zhura). Still, I'm not going to complain!

Hoping to hit 100 before the 15th!

RE: 70 page Shout-out!

Just brushed past 70 pages. This is turning out a lot longer than I expected it to be. I don't think one hundred pages is going to cut it.

RE: 70 page Shout-out!

I got to 70!!!
I won't be validating it, there isn't a lot of point now because my friend who was doing her own script gave up.
I'm happy I have got this far! I was on 43 this morning but when I went through the WHOLE 43 pages to format it correctly and it pushed me to 74 pages!

*Dances around the room*

Congrats to everyone.

RE: 70 page Shout-out!

Just hit 71 pages. I'm frankly amazed with my progress so far - I wasn't expecting it to go nearly this well. I've even had the time to go back and do a bit of re-editing and re-writing as I go, which I told myself I wasn't going to do.

The perfectionist in me just won't lie down for long, but I'm still way ahead of schedule, so I'm not going to worry about it too much.

I'm getting towards the end of Act II now and the pace of the story is really starting to pick up, so fingers crossed I shouldn't stall now, as I already know what I'm going to do with my last few scenes. I want to try and get another 10 pages or so done tonight, and then we should be getting into the final Act.

This has really been a lot more fun than I expected - I could get used to doing this.

RE: 70 page Shout-out!

A nice bunch of sprinting got me here. The script pages are taking longer to write now, and the plot is still meandering around, but a storm's brewing, which is nice :)

RE: 70 page Shout-out!

Yes! I hit seventy pages. I'm actually starting to think that I might get to a hundred pages. *knocks on wood* However, I have virtually no plot, I keep forgetting my characters names, and I start track practice next week. Plus homework. So maybe I'm celebrating too soon. Oh well, I'm still trying! Good luck to everyone!

RE: 70 page Shout-out!

How strange. I managed five pages of script out of just twelve panels. Moving on to Chapter Four, the last chapter of this volume. Hey, if I write ten more pages from here, I'll be back on track. And I just finished that anime I was watching, so there should be fewer distractions...maybe.

70 and right on target.
Four pages a day, and at the end, I'll still have the time to go back and fix things, redress inconsistencies, add a bit of flavor to the characters and dialogues.

RE: 70 page Shout-out!

Just reached 70! Technically my validation says 71 but that one page is a whole one line, so that doesn't count, haha. I'm so excited about my progress! I'm definitely going to finish this! Only thing is, I don't think I can wrap up this script in 30 pages... I think it's going to have to be longer. Oh well, better to be long and chop it down in a later edit than not have enough and need to flesh it out...
