Split personalites/souls = Brilliant romantic comedy?

Okay, so I don't know if this would fit in this section, but my script started out as an action/fantasy, and now, thanks to the plot and situation it is turning into a very odd romantic comedy! Let me explain:

The whole story is that there is a stone, called the Olympian God Stone, and if certain people touch it, then the Greek Gods' souls will be reincarnated within them. So the god can talk to them, and take control of their bodies (if the person allows them to, sometimes without their permission), and also gives the person the god's powers. And so halfway in the script, Aphrodite, in the body of one of the MCs, Aykan, puts a love spell on Kaylex (Ares) and Lydia (Athena) and they keep switiching between themselves and the god that is trapped within them. So while Ares is trying to swoon Athena, Lydia is actually in control. Can you see where I am going with this? And do you think this is brilliant, or really, really, confusing?

It sounds Sci-Fi with a bit of Romance perhaps.
