I like to listen to metal while writing. I guess it helps me keep a quick rhythm... but I like to listen to metal anywhere so I don't know.

Finally! Someone who listens to metal while scripting! I thought I was the only one! :D I listen to some of these bands:

-Otep <3333
-Dragonforce
-Nightwish <333
-GWAR
-Disturbed
-Five Finger Death Punch <33
-Mordor

Among other metal artists/bands. I'm surprised that the music helps so much with my writing, but since parts of my script is action, it makes sense :)

What sort of advice do you need? I can't help a lot with dialouge, camera shots, and most formatting questions, as those are the areas I am having the most trouble with. But... other than that, if you have any questions, feel free to FrenzyMail me and I will try my best to help you out.

I've always strayed from listening to music like that. What I tend to listen to is scores (like 24, Punisher: War Zone, etc.) It helps me concentrate a lot more than typical music. I might listen to some Megadeth or whatnot, if I'm in the mood for it.

I know! Everybody should, they are amazing! And they are perfect for epic fantasy scripts, which is sort of what I am writing :)
