Yes, it's a strange request. I'm using a dare in my script where a character has to burst into song - and sing a song that is somehow relevant to the plot.
The scene I've chosen for this, the one that first the best is one where the character is about to go undercover. The lead in is, "So, can you sing?" or words to that effect.
The character is going to sing the reply, but I need an appropriate song.
