On April 21 I was talking to a movie director about movies in general. I mentioned that I was writing a screenplay for script Frenzy. He asked about the plot, characters, settings, props. After I explained everything, including a big plug for NaNoWriMo and Script Frenzy, he said that when the script is done, he is interested in directing it. I have talked to several people about locations, etc. Casting should be easy as there are only a few characters. Now we are looking to begin shooting sometime this summer. Protect yourself and protect your work. Even if this director is a friend. I'm speaking from personal experience, and people get WEIRD when it comes to anything that might make a buck.
