Unexpected Turn in Plot

I always love it when my plot takes a mind of it own! Recently my main character got an unexpected boyfriend which definitely give more meat, for lack of a better word, to my plot which of course means more drama! :D I'm so excited to see where it goes!

What unexpected turns in your plots have you experienced?

2006: Cane and Able
2007: The Write Teacher (winner!)
2008: Boys are Perverts (winnter!)
2009: Current Events and the Sixth Grade Trifecta

RE: Unexpected Turn in Plot

That the entire reason for my story is actually not the true reason for my story. It's almost on the level of an M. Night Shyamalan twist, but not as Blockbuster-y.

RE: Unexpected Turn in Plot

It's almost the end of Screnzy, but I recently just discovered another antagonist, which is going to make the current antagonist become a protagonist XD Yeah... it's going to be great :)

"Life is a journey, explore your options." NaNoWriMo '08 - 'Forsaken Destiny' (Lost) Screnzy '09 - 'Pantheon - Modern Day Rule' - Winner!

RE: Unexpected Turn in Plot

Half of the characters in my script just popped up on their own. Derek and Jay were supposed to be only secondary characters but the became MCs really quick. Oh, and three of my characters get zapped into oblivion by aliens (ET style ones) at the end.

RE: Unexpected Turn in Plot

Well, it's not a huge deal now, but if I write more of the series it will be. 'Cause David, who is supposed to be sighing after Sadie, just told her that Skyler has a crush on him, and plans to prove it. What?
It made the ending of the episode much nicer than it had been, though.
