Studying medicine at Oxford? Any Doctors out there?

20 year old female medical student; I want a scene to take place in a hospital (Radcliffe?) lab around late April, present day; small group of students studying Physiology of the Brain (sliced brains in dishes?)(preferably one of them is a sample of a diseased (Alzheimer's) brain.

I need terminology, advice on what the students would be being doing, and a couple of questions (on the diseased brain) she doesn't answer, not because she can't, because she is distracted.. Plus exampleauthentic response from a bolshy tutor.

- doesn't matter which year of study, except that a few weeks later, in May, she doesn't turn up for vital exams at the Examination Schools which could impact her career.

Thanks. Miss Dotty
