This is absolutely infuriating

It's staggering the amount of trouble happening right now. Up until the past few days, everything with writing my script has been fine. The only troubles then were finding time to write and inspiration. Normal, peaceful challenges right?

But now everything decides to go rogue on me.

First off, Celtx decides to not work after I update it. I get info on the website about how to fix it, so then it decides to work again, but I don't know how to open my existing 50+ page project. I find a way to paste it in, so I feel good.

Today I find that I can't export it to a PDF because apparently my Celtx account has expired or some dumb stuff, and I would have to pay money to use it again.

I decide to look around and use Scripped instead. I use Celtx to export my script as a txt, and then upload the txt to Scripped, only to find they jacked up the number of pages to round 15 or 20 more than I had, which means my whole story structure is ruined.

This is total bullshit.

Be not troubled, sir. This sounds like a conspiracy of fate, and I'm certain you'll rise above it and show it who's boss around here.

C'mon, you're so close to the finish line! It shouldn't be too much to find the time to fix this as best you can and keep writing too. ^-^ I'm sure you can do it.

I have nothing witty to say here. Please move along.

RE: This is absolutely infuriating

Well thank you very much Fourteenth Target.

I'm happy to say that I've made it to the 100 page mark and therefore I'm now a weiner. I'm quite thankful to God that I made it even after the extreme frustration and finally got to 100. The story structure may be a little different but I think it worked out very well. Much better than I had thought just yesterday anyway.

I don't know if it really should count or not though because my page count was altered. Bu then again it says it's 100 so I'm happy! I'll be having to rewrite my work anyway, so all the structural problems caused by this software mishap will be fixed, in addition to plenty of other things.

You have to have a registered account just to get a PDF out of Celtx -- great... :P

Looks like I'll have to transfer my script to OpenOffice, find a script template, use it. Or just export to text, open in OOo, and export to PDF. Whatever works. I'll only get mad if something goes wrong in the last few minutes, though.
