How went your comic?

Did you finish your script? Were you able to fit the whole plot into 100 pages? Do you like what you've written?

I'm pretty satisfied with what I've written even though I only got through 2 1/2 issues of the comic I started out to write.

After about 50 pages I switched gears to write an issue of a super hero comic that I wanted to write, and then I stormed through the first ten pages of three other comics.

It all totaled 100 pages and launched a bunch of new projects.

RE: How went your comic?

Alas, I never managed to do anything more than write out a plan for my script, and then write 15 pages. But then, I have the excuse that I moved across town, and that it took 2 weeks, during which my computer was packed up...

RE: How went your comic?

I'm really happy with how mine went, and after re-drafting I'll be sending it off to try and get it made into a real comic.

I'm glad I did this as I've had the idea for over a year now and don't think I'd have ever done it otherwise.

RE: How went your comic?

I got my 100 pages. I decided it was probably best as a webcomic, so I didn't finish, but it wouldn't have been.

Now to start re-writes... after I start planning this year's NaNo. :)

RE: How went your comic?

Well, I planned each comic to be 24 pages (which was more in script form mind you), and I ended up with 2 finished comic books and one a few pages in.

RE: How went your comic?

I did pretty well. I finished the first volume of my series (mostly)--four chapters each 30 pages long--and started the Extra Chapter at the end, although I haven't finished that yet. I don't know when I'm going to get around to that part. I've barely started plotting it, but I needed that one page to win.

I think that I'm still going to hide under my bed if someone says the word "script" again for the next couple of weeks. I finished, but it completely burned me out.

RE: How went your comic?

I planned on doing at least 100 pages of the first "book" of an ongoing webcomic... and I did.

RE: How went your comic?

I wrote the 100 pages, and with about ten more pages I should be done with part one (of five) so there's about 400 pages to go... but first I have to finish editing my NaNovel... so much to do, so little time to type.

RE: How went your comic?

Had the page count done. Then hit a major writers block on how to write the climate.
Finally force my way through it today, adding another 20 pages to the total.

RE: How went your comic?

I decided to abandon both Bad Company scripts (movie and graphic novel) and just finish the damn novel. Once I start doing actual comics again, I'll return to my '08 script (for my manga Spanner). I'm going to at least finish the revised script to #1 (with some wild and crazy new cyberpunk story elements and the removal of some dull scenes) and prepare to return to the series for Screnzy next year.
