Thinking of next year

About halfway through my script, I got stuck. I just could not figure out what to write. Now, though I did get over this eventually, at the time, I started thinking things like "Why am I doing this?" and "How did I even come up with this plot?"
And then, an idea came to me out of nowhere, one that I really wanted to use. I considered starting over, but I could not bring myself to delete all the effort that I had put into my first script. So I decided to use it next year.
It is the day after the Frenzy. I've already halfway planned out my script for next year. (Which, if anyone is interested, is going to be called "Losing the Game: The Musical". Tagline: "I lose therefore I am.")
So this got me wondering. Am I the only one thinking about next year already?

RE: Thinking of next year

Haha I've already decided that next year I'm going to write for a television series, maybe try to get half a season or more, after my effort this year I think I'll be able to!

Most people would probably be spending this time relaxing after a month of restless writing but I'm going to start editing as soon as I get home tomorrow and I will have my first edited by the end of May :)

But planning already, I understand it. The craziness of the month has just finished and I'm already counting down the days to NaNo and the next Frenzy.. I'm mad haha

RE: Thinking of next year

I actually thought of this half way through, but didn't want to stop the other story I had started (and loved too, btw). I've been wanting to put together an anthology of historic monologues and short one-act plays. So guess what I'm doing next year!

RE: Thinking of next year

No idea what I'm doing next year, but I like your tagline there. Good luck keeping that enthusiasm for the next 329 days!
