Missing it already?

I know I am! I'm already missing the absolute craziness of a month of non-stop writing, and I really want to do it again! I can't wait until NaNo!

Anyone feeling the same?

RE: Missing it already?

I didn't stop.... (in fact I'm going faster than I was in April) However, I miss updating my page count. =)

RE: Missing it already?

I definitely miss it. This introduced me to a whole new mode of creativity and I'm absolutely in love with it. I won't be stopping in regards to screenwriting, definitely.

RE: Missing it already?

*sob sob* Yes, I miss it.

What's worse is that even though I now have to motivation to write like crazy, my muses have fallen asleep from overwork during April, and now refuse to give me a plot, or even an inspirational sentence to get me started. >.<

Haha, I'm with ya there, Aelfay. I feel like I want to keep going and going, but my inspirational romantic comedy fairies have flown the coop.

RE: Missing it already?

*raises hand* I miss it too!

I used to think of my characters or a new scene to try to help me fall asleep. Since I'm not really working on anything, I'm having a hard time going to sleep. That, and I just sorta miss having something to look forward to when I got home. >.<

RE: Missing it already?

I do miss it. It was great motivation. Now that it's over procrastination is pulling at me and winning. So, as soon as I get past this bad case of the "I don't wannas", I'm going to set my own deadline for the next draft and make all my Facebook friends read the page count in my status. --lol--

RE: Missing it already?

Exactly the same. I feel incomplete without my five hundred cups of tea and a blank text document in the morning. Roll on NaNoWriMo.

RE: Missing it already?

Winning Frenzy definitely gave me the perspective I needed. Now I have new fuel to finish my 2008 NaNo novel, which lost steam halfway through November. May is my regenerative month, but come June, I will tan only by the light of the monitor! Haha!

RE: Missing it already?

I knew I would miss it immediatly, so I actually planned with a friend to do a NaNo in May, so I'm still writing. It never ends!

RE: Missing it already?

I really want to start a new, original script (my frenzy script this time was an adaptation), only I don't really have any ideas. But hopefully inspiration will strike soon, so I can keep writing.

RE: Missing it already?

I'm still writing on stuff I started before April and a script I started this week but I miss the page count and seeing the little bars raise and cross the daily writing goal. I also miss the write ins I was going to once a week but they were a 45 minute drive across town and killed my entire afternoon and evening so I'm glad to save the gas money (and the chai money) and have the afternoons back but I still miss it.

RE: Missing it already?

Yeah, this was really awesome. Not only is this the first time I've written a screenplay, it the first time I've ever finished anything this BIG. (In terms of full-length, complex aesthetic object.)

Of course, I still need to rewrite the heck out of it, but still. Clearly, writing with a formal deadline is key to my ability to succeed. So I'm going to do all the "WriMo" type stunts I can from here on out.

I'm definitely going to miss the sense of shared excitement, though. Not much I can do about that.
