Does anybody know the process on how to attach an actor or an actress to a script?

My current plan is to attach someone to my script and use their name stamped on my project to either
1) Get an agent
2) Get a pitch meeting
Which ever comes first.

So any suggestions?

Hmmm. I'm not sure that the postal service will deliver people, and the actor or actress would probably not be happy about being stapled to anything...
