Signing up at the wrong time of the year feels like landing in a seaside town out of season - latest posts are weeks old, etc. I couldn't see the right place to post a hello so here will have to do. My profile has some info on what I'm doing. In the meantime I'll check out old threads and links in the writers resources - that's what I came here for in the first instance tonight as this type of creative writing is relatively new for me(I'm now teaching maths and I've decided to go out on a limb just for the sheer hell of it). ATM I have only a very rough idea about what I'm writing about - out of the blue I started writing less than a week ago and I'm gripped by an initial surge of ideas that I know will run dry. I'm mainly wondering about the relationships I can build between characters and how that will engage my audience of high school students.
