I noticed that there's not much conversation going on, and though I'm sure it's because you're all so busy on your scripts ;), I'm interested in how everyone's doing.

I am on page...5. I've actually never been this epic-ly behind on anything in my life, but I still have hope for it. Possibly. Maybe...? Adapting a novel is harder than I would have thought possible, and I'm crazy busy.

Yaaaaaay.

I go to college in milledgeville, and I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that no one here is Screnzying, but I'll be in Atlanta this weekend so I was wondering if anyone would like to do a write-in? I was thinking Javamonkey or the big Borders with the cafe and stuff, probaly on Saturday, but it depends on what you guys want. Anyone interested?

Since the entire state of Georgia is in this forum, it'd be a good idea to see where everyone is.

I'm Sujin, or Sushi. I've participated in and completed NaNo since 2002, and the result is six first drafts that may or may not get touched again. Currently I'm a third-year math major at Agnes Scott in Decatur, where the math department is eating my soul and I'm letting them. (I'm kidding...but about which parts?) I also completed in Script Frenzy last year but wasn't in Atlanta at the time, which made me sad because we have an awesome NaNo/Screnzy community.

How about you?

Is there anyone in the Powder Springs or Marietta area? I know there's plenty of people around here, as it takes me forever to make my commute around here...

I've done NaNoWriMo twice, but this is my first time on ScriptFrenzy. So far, I'm lovin' it! I hope everyone else is enjoying themselves. :)

there doesn't seem to be very many Atlanta area scriptwriters signed up for this years ScriptFrenzy but I'll be at the Sandy Springs/Roswell Landmark diner (Roswell Road exit off I-285 just north of the perimeter) at 8pm on Monday March 31st if any of you would like to join me for a meet and greet kick-off. Just look for the girl with the very long hair, glasses, ScriftFrenzy t-shirt and hat. Look forward to seeing you there.

Just want to welcome y'all

My name is Shawn (jazzyjinx) and I am the ML for the Georgia area and I'd like to welcome everyone to ScriptFrenzy 2008.

I'd love to hear from all of you. There are over 70 of you subscribed to this Regional Forum but I've only seen four of you post on the "Where Are You? Who Are You?" post.

So let me tell you a little about myself: I live north of Atlanta and have been writing since I was a teenager, though not yet published. I've participated in NaNo and ScriptFrenzy (see below). I finished last years ScriptFrenzy project just two weeks ago, though I'm now working on the second draft, and I'm thrilled with the results. Without ScriptFrenzy, I don't think I would have ever gotten as far as I had with my first script.

Writing has always come easily to me but writing a script was the biggest challenge thus far. Last years script was a sequel to an early 90's movie. This years script is a completely original idea so I expect this one to be an even bigger challenge.

So let's hear from you. Who are you? Where are you? Done ScriptFrenzy or NaNo yet? Winner?

And I'd like to plan a Kick-Off event for Saturday, March 29th, just a get together to get to know each other and get familiar with this thing we call ScriptFrenzy.
