Beta Readers - Feedback?
Is there a forum somewhere in Script Frenzy where we can share portions of our work and get feedback? I'm working on my first screenplay, which is an adaptation of my unpublished novel. A beta reader told me the novel would make a better movie. I'm just getting started. Don't won't to go too far without getting feedback.
__________________________How many montages are too many?
I'm in the middle of writing my 2nd draft of my 1st screenplay (that's not cheating for ScriptFrenzy, right?) and I'm worried that I've done a few too many montages (about 5 or 6). It's basically an epic road-trip comedy through Africa (bottom to top, and beyond) and all the montages are there to basically fill in huge distances (for example going from Kenya up to Egypt).
Is that too many? Or is there another/better way to fill in the time/distance?
Cheers
__________________________So what should I do if my script ends early?
So, I didn't know even know about Script Frenzy until about a week in, so I assumed that my biggest problem would be writing quickly enough. As it turns out, thanks to the fact that I had a very good idea, not to mention not-quite-as-very-good notes and outlines, of exactly what happens, I'm not having any difficulty writing the pages.
__________________________Movies Where People Talk To Other People For 90 Minutes?
All right, here's the deal, while I put off writing my screenplay, I like to comb the forums here and read other people's script plots, but I have a thing now, I feel like all I'm reading are incredibly intricate sci-fi, fantasy, or action plots, maybe it's just me or maybe they really are ninety percent those, but is anyone writing a movie where normal people in the years 1940-now talk at each other and do relatively usual things (not in the boring sense, just usual in the, well, not fantastical sense), like a plain drama.

How to add to page count without using filler scenes?
What's the best way to add meaningful content when you've finished your story, I don't know, maybe 20 pages early?
I know I can expand on some subplots and work on the main plot, but I want the scenes to be good, not just "blehhere'ssomestuffiwrotetogetto100pages"

How often should I use sluglines?
I'm new to writing scripts, and I'm wondering how often I should use sluglines. I know that they should be used during cuts, but what if it's during the same "scene?"
For example:
Sarah and Jessica decide to go to China. They leave their small room and head toward the hallway.* They walk down the hallway, and Jessica trips and dies.
Would I put a slugline where the * is? Like, would I put
INT. ORGANIZATION HQ - GRAND HALLWAY
there, or should I not?
__________________________Who in film inspires your screenwriting?
I'm just curious to see who everyone's influences are. Director-wise, I love Jean-Luc Godard ("Breathless"-esque jump cuts, especially), Ingmar Bergman, and Kevin Smith.
Blended together, this could be a hilarious disaster.
__________________________Writing is the tricky bit
*shuffles feet*
I'm no good at writing screenplays, so how do I set the scene? just like a regular script for the stage or what?
ANY help would be nice.

Reaally strange question-
So, if you were a brainless, idiotic thug who thought yourself HILARIOUS, and you were making fun of a boy with FISH for hands, what ridiculous insults might you say?
Believe it or not, this has actual relevance.

Messy Middle
My screenplay started out action adventure comedy, now it's gone all yucky romantic in the middle. It's like putting a roast in the oven, checking on it and now it's become a tuna casserole. Even worse, I'm running out of funny. Suggestions?
