I'm curious, I don't know what the maximum time is for something to be considered a short. Ten minutes? Twenty minutes? Five? The length of an average music video? I might have an idea for a short. Maybe.

How do you keep the ideas going. I'm writing a collection of sketches so I'm going to need somewhere from 20-40 sketch ideas (depending on how long my sketches are). I've already written 3 sketches and only have 4 more ideas and they took me all of last week to come up with.
How do you generate ideas for different shorts?

on March 2, 2011 - 06:33.I love shorts. Always write 'em. I rebel on NaNo with a ton of shorts every year. I like Script Frenzy better than NaNo because I don't have to be a rebel to write shorts over here! YAY!
Traditionally I spend Script Frenzy writing a mixed bad of 10-minute/page shorts, usually a few plays, a ballet, a D&D RPG, and a couple of comic scripts.
I'm planning to do my usual mixed bag of shorts again this year. Who's with me?
