Other Scripts

Screenplay versus Comic?

Hey, I was wondering if I could get a few peoples opinion. For this ScriptFrenzy (my first actually *^_^*), I was thinking of finally working out this idea I've had for a long while, but I'm not sure which format to write it in (I've downloaded CeltX to help b/c I've never written a script, but I don't know which to choose).

Scripts surrounding a pre-created fictional character?

I came with an idea that seems to be at a loss as to what genre it's in... I'm doing a comical play in which Yuki Sohma (character in Fruits Basket manga/anime) takes on fanfiction and its writers, letting them know just what he thinks of all they've put him through. It should be pretty funny.

Who else is doing something similar?

Youtube?

Would a Script for a youtube series belong here or somewhere else oho~?

Tied Between Two Speculative Fantasy/Romance ideas

I plan on writing a novel for April rather than a script. The two ideas I'm down to are speculative fantasy and romance ideas.

Which script style to choose from...

I've met with a bit of a conundrum...Down to two ideas, one for a screen play, one for a kid's stage play. Both are viable, which to write???....Note: both main characters have a disability; both main characters break the stereotypical person of one who has a disability. examples might be: that all brain injuries result in psych-killers, or that all Down's Syndrome are incapable of living normal lives...just rambling thoughts for April...

Screnzy Rebels

Everyone who's NOT writing a script, this is the place for you!

If you're attempting to write your very own 50,000 word masterpiece, or simply want to continue on from the successes or lack thereof of November past, this is your time to shine!

I myself will be trying to finish my NaNoWriMo, and to complete what will hopefully be a 10K plus shortish story.

So share your ideas, motivations or recipes below, and may we all win!

Visual Novels anyone?

Anyone writing a VN script for Screnzy this year? I know there used to be a VN thread left over from last year, but obviously that's been got rid of now that the site is relaunched, so I thought I'd start a new one and see who else is VNing it up this year besides me :D

So come chat about VN script formatting, the ins and outs of VNs, your ideas and progress, and share helpful links (which I'll do my best to collect in this first post for easy reference).

Here's my contribution: the Lemma Soft forums, which are a great place to get friendly critique about your VN project.

Dungeons & Dragons type RPG

I'm thinking of doing a Dungeon Crawl Adventure Script this year, so here's a thread for that sort of thing.

Video game formatting?

One (of my possible two) scripts this year is probably going to be the script for an FPS video game I'm designing this year. But what's a game if there's no story?

I've done some research as to video game formatting in various blogs around the Web, but if anyone else has done any kind of game script, please share your opinions--on formatting, on content, anything!
