DRAFT 2 Date;6/17- please hold me accountable, thx!

...So I'm taking the Script Frenzy Revision suggestions and setting a deadline with you all for Draft 2 :). Have to say, this whole Screnzied process has been mighty uncomfortable (I usually rewrite as I go along, essentially impossible when trying to hammer out 100 pages in a month). Also going to follow the suggestion of strengthening the outline, filling out the characters BEFORE starting the rewrite (equally annoying). What's that thing they say - do what you've always done and get what you've always gotten? Do something different and...you know the drill.

Other possible contests.

It is pushing too much, but I am going to push my self, for revision or two passes and a couple scene additions for June 1, the end of the regular entry, for the paid entry "Big Break" contest.
More crazed is thinking I can finish a second screen play by then...from 10 pages done while procrastinating on my main Script Frenzy.

Frenzy to Madness to .....much deeper insanity.

Finish by May 10th, and then the real work starts...

My story is far from over. Really, really far.

And I want to give this draft (technically the second) to my friend for her birthday, on May 10th.

So there's my deadline: May 10th, for a finished draft of my novel/script.

And then the rest of May will be figuring out everything about my characters.

And June to turn it back into a novel and fix things up in time to get my Createspace proof.

Please help me stay accountable!

• Revision Deadlines

Congrats to all of those who have the coveted "winner" emblazoned beneath their page count bar. Nicely done. Those who didn't meet the deadline, don't give up, keep going, and set a new deadline for your first draft. For my part, I am going to wait a week before printing out my first draft and reading it with the "inky red pen of death" in my hand.
