Scriptwriting Soundtracks

HARD DECISION!

Alright, so my screenplay is called Gone, and it's about this guy, Damon, who is desperate to keep his best friend Hayley from going over the edge. She's suffering from depression but won't talk to anyone but him about it, etc.

I'm already thinking up a trailer, but I'm trying to decide between two songs (the choruses). It's between Conspiracy by Paramore or Breakeven by The Script. They both fit perfectly.

Any help?

Character Soundtracks- What Song Fits For You?

I find that as I'm writing and listening to music, certain songs seem to fit certain characters oddly well.

Like Chris, for instance. Her song is 'Believe' by Britt Nicole. And Alika's song is 'Stand in the Rain' by Superchic[k].

Do your characters have songs that could be the soundtrack to their lives? Post which character fits which song, and why this seems to be so!

Does anyone else listen to J-pop?

Hi everyone!
If I listen to my usual Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez while writing, I tend to focus on what they're saying. So it's a problem! But I do love listening to peoples voices. So my solution was Japanese Pop! I love it now! Does anyone else listen to it?

Foreign Language songs?

So, I'm curious. I listen to a lot of Kpop (Korean Pop) even though I only speak English (and a teeny bit of German). Do you listen to music in foreign languages, or just music that's not the norm for wherever you are?

My Soundtrack as of right now.

It consists of:

Eye of the Tiger - Survivor (Rocky III)
You're the Best - Joe Esposito (Karate Kid)

I couldn't remember who actually did the Karate Kid one, and found a pretty cool factoid on Wikipedia when I went to looked it up:

Odd...

I can't seem to write when I listen to songs that are in English. I start writing out the lyrics. SO I listen to music in all different languages when I write. I think I may need some new ones though. I'm into Swedish stuff right now, preferably with girls singing. Any suggestions?

I need soundtracks for my characters!

Just music without words, please! :) I would like soundtracks for these characters:

Quirt: He is the hero! Epic!
Bridget: She is calm and beautiful
Thomas: moody and torn, but with a little good in him if he ever changes
Kyle: The fun-loving guy who learns to be a bit more serious
Luku: The quiet, smart guy
Shayla: The shy cry-baby of a girl who becomes a hero

Thanks for any and all suggestions!! :)

could use suggestions

I have fallen far behind and I'd love some suggestions of themes (or lists) for my character to help me get in the mood as I write. I am open to any suggestions.

Kithra- She is a prosecutor that has turned vigilante against those that have gotten off because of corruption. She believes in the theory justice.

Ashama- It is a nearly forgotten dark spirit of wrath and vengence. He is the Mephistopheles to Kithra's Faust.

Rainy Mood, the best mp3 loop since smoked cheese

www.rainymood.com

It's a loop of thunderstorm and rain sounds. Not only is it very peaceful to listen to, but it's also productive for writing! I like pairing it up with KOKIA's songs and anything by Diverse System for a truly beautiful and productive experience!
