Hey…You’re an awfully hard guy to get a hold of. I came down here earlier today, but your aide, Ms. Courtney, said that you had stepped out to meet with some people. Would any of them happen to be your developer partners?

(Hearing someone speak to him in that tone of voice, he scoots towards the door, just a little bit faster, but without running. He is trying to get to the door before the unknown speaker reaches him. He extends his hand towards the door handle as we see JEFFERY GOODSON)

Sorry, I meet with a lot of people. And no, this last meeting wasn’t with any developers, not that it’s any of YOUR business if it was.

Considering that it’s MY building you’re taking, yes it IS my business.
(About this time, we see a SECURITY GUARD approaching. He is making his rounds, and has not seen the dialog that has just occurred. JEFFERY sees the approaching guard, then lowers his clenched fist down to his side. He wasn’t going to strike the SENATOR, although MATT didn’t know that. It was simply a reflexive action for the Rev., due to the rising anger in his voice. )
