An Excerpt from -I don't have a title, I'm doing multiple short plays-
Ethel [sitting on bench, talking to birds] …and then I’ve got to go to the grocery store. Stale bread goes out Thursday mornings, and the more I get, the more I get to feed you guys. [she crumples the paper bag in her hands] All out of bread for the day. Looks like tomorrow’s trip is coming just in time. I‘ll see you little birdies Thursday Night! [Rises, exits left.]
