Agba immediately starts to rake hay from a heap in a corner to the floor, spreading it out. Over a series of time he prepares the stable for the mare, then leads her in and helps her get settled. She goes to sleep in preparation for the event later that night. Agba settles against the remaining pile of straw and watches the mare, blinking in an effort to stay awake. It's silent except for the sound of the mare's breathing and crickets chirping.
O.S.
Do you know how the horse came into being?
FADE TO EXT: AGRIBAH MARKETPLACE - NOON

Do you know?
Agba shakes his head, eyes full of curiosity and wonderment. The storyteller proceeds to speak slowly, mysteriously.
STORYTELLER
