So I'll just put a synopsis : Alain de Gilles, the most accomplished pistol duellist in 19th century France, is shot dead through misfortune and a misfiring pistol. He is buried, following his wishes, with a pistol and two pieces of shot - one over each eye - so that he may shoot the ferryman at the river Styx. This he does, catapulting the Ferryman into mid-19th century France and launching himself on an adventure through the Greek underworld armed only with a pistol and a single shot.
