THE SUPERVISORS
When Hayley finds out she has the ability of low-level telekinesis, she realizes that she has a responsibility to do good. She assembles a group of university students with powers as well to try to protect Toronto from evil.
The group finds out that a man is planning on bombing Toronto's landmarks in a bid to take over the city. When the police don't believe their story, it's up to The Supervisors to save Toronto.

PANEL 1 The four are standing together at Dundas and Parliament in front of a giant building proclaiming "FRESHCO." They all look bored.
HAYLEY
How does one find crime in this city?
CHRIS
Go to Jane and Finch?
DELANEY
This is stupid.
BEN
I could use some produce.
PANEL 2 Delaney turns to Chris, hands on her hips.
DELANEY
Hey, what do you do? You're a superhero.
CHRIS
I just wander until I find something, generally.
PANEL 3 The others look at Hayley as she spreads her arms wide except for Ben, who's looking off panel.
HAYLEY
Well, obviously that tactic isn't working.
BEN
Except that it is.
PANEL 4 A dude dressed in dark clothes wearing a baseball cap is clearly attempting to intimidate another man in some kind of confrontation.

PANEL 1 The four of them are getting ready for action - readying to run, putting up their fists, whatever.
BEN
Avengers assemble! Or whatever.
PANEL 2 The four of them start running toward the confrontation. Chris is wildly shooting blue lasers that are coming nowhere near their target. Hayley is pointing as well, and the attacker's cap is floating in the air.
BEN
How is making his cap float helping us?
HAYLEY
Oh, and why don't you try to see what's inside his pockets? That might help!
LIFE AND DEATH
Mattie's sister Ava died on a Wednesday.
On Thursday, she reappeared.
The girls can't figure out why she hasn't moved on, but decide to make the most of it. They form a plan to rent out Ava's ghostly services to paranormal TV shows, mediums, and haunted houses. Ava begins to accept her fate and Mattie is grateful that she doesn't have to lose her sister.
Then problems start happening in the spirit world: ghost are being allowed to roam freely wherever they want. Because of Ava's unique situation, she is the only one who can fix whatever's going wrong by undertaking a dangerous quest into the spirit world. Mattie refuses to let her sister face the danger alone, and together the sisters must set things right.

PANEL 1 A wild looking man appears, wielding a sword. Think Jack's first appearance in Jumanji. He has a crazy look on his face. The girls stop dead, startled.
CRAZY MAN
EN GUARDE!
PANEL 2 Ava clutches Mattie's arm as the two stare at him in fear and shock.
MATTIE
This is not good. What do we do?
AVA
Run!
PANEL 3 The two girls are running as fast as they can through the forest, Crazy Man in hot pursuit but off panel (SFX: CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP).
MATTIE
Is it possible to outrun a ghost? Can't he teleport?
AVA
We're dead too! Can't we teleport?
MATTIE
Try!
PANEL 4 Mattie looks over at Ava as she closes her eyes tightly in concentration while still running. Nothing happens.

PANEL 1 Mattie rolls her eyes and Ava opens hers and shrugs, mid-run.
AVA
Yeah, I got nothing.
PANEL 2 The girls are running, and from our point of view we can see the crazy guy catching up to them.
AVA
We need to think of a plan!
MATTIE
Unfortunately I find it hard to think when I'm running for my life!
PANEL 3 The girls stop dead as LEE, 10, appears in front of them.
MATTIE
Not another one!
LEE
You can fight him! Imagine a weapon, and you have it!
PANEL 4 The girls are facing Crazy Man, with Lee behind them. Crazy Man is grinning and brandishing his sword.
LEE
You can get a weapon if you want it enough.
AVA
Even if we could, he's a ghost! We can't hurt him!
LEE
We can all be hurt up here.

PANEL 1 Mattie's looking sideways at Lee as she faces Crazy Man. Ava looks determined.
MATTIE
I don't know whether that's good or bad.
LEE
Fight!
PANEL 2 Weapons appear in Ava's and Mattie's hands (SFX: POOF): Mattie has a bazooka that looks comically large in her hands. Ava's carrying a baseball bat.
MATTIE
Holy crap!
PANEL 3 Ava's looking at her sister, eyebrow raised. Mattie looks absolutely delighted with the direction things are taking.
MATTIE
This is awesome!
AVA
Okay, seriously?
PANEL 4 Mattie and Ava are arguing. Crazy Man looks like he's not going to wait any longer for them.
MATTIE
What? You're the one who imagined a baseball bat. Out of all the things in the world, you want a bat?
AVA
Excuse me if I don't have penis envy.
MATTIE
(small letters)
Says the girl with the baseball bat.
