Hey sunshine!

briana just looks at him, a scowl on her face. a morphine IV in her good arm makes the pain much more bearable.

BRIANA
Can I bust out of here yet? I hate hospitals, I hate needles, and I just want to crawl into a hole.

ETHAN
(shaking his head)

Not quite yet oh impatient one. The nurse is still getting stuff ready, plus they want to make sure nothing else pops up. You got your bell rung pretty good so they were afraid you might have had a concussion.

silence falls between the two, ethan with a sad look on his face. briana looks at him worridly, not sure what the change of mood was about.

BRIANA
Is there something you're not telling me Ethan? You kind of suck at masking stuff on the surface.

ethan closes the door and walks over to a chair next to the bed. sitting down, he sighs and looks at briana

ETHAN
Actually there's two things you need to know. Apparently someone from the crowd of people called campus PD and told them about it. I'm telling you this because it wasn't me and I want you to know that.

briana nodded, not really too pissed about that, seeing as it was bound to happen.
BRIANA

(taking a deep breath)
