An Excerpt from Safe Haven
Punk continues to stream through the CD player as he turns onto a different road -- with the same result: as soon as he hits a certain point, he finds himself emerging onto the same road, going in the same direction as before. It’s as if the town is looping back on itself. Confused, and getting worried, Jimmy turns blindly onto a new road. He spots TWO PEOPLE ahead: a TALL WHITE MAN, 30s, and a YOUNGER BLACK WOMAN carrying a clipboard. They hear the car and turn to look at him with oddly worried faces. Jimmy switches the CD changer to something classical and pulls to a stop.
