RE: Welcome South African Frenzies

Hi there Cali! I'm glad to see you again.

This will be my first Script Frenzy, but I did participate in NaNo last year. It's just too much fun too miss.

RE: Welcome South African Frenzies

Welcome to the madness! I agree that these things are too much fun to miss, even if for 20 days out of the 30 we have to write I will be complaining and cussing myself for attempting this once again. The pain always fades afterwards and eventually you only remember the moments of glee when the story just came pouring out.

Might I also mention, I am very glad to not be tackling this alone. We'll see how many of last year's participants can be dragged kicking and screaming back and how many new recruits can be enticed. It's a fledgling challenge, though, so we can't too big a turn out.

RE: Welcome South African Frenzies

Well, I am new here and really excited I must say (even though I have no idea where I will get the time to do it, but I will do it!)

SO I need all the help I can get. Pleeeeeez help me, I can be very lost sometimes and need to be reminded and shown things ;-) THANK YOU!

Life should not be measured by how many breathes you take but by people and places take your breathe away.

:D I'm glad to see another South African Peter Pan!

Most of us will be willing to help you should you require any. As long as you have a great time. Because in the end, that's what it's all about.

Indeed, we gladly help where ever we can, just shout if you get stuck anywhere. I'll also be here all month trying to keep the motivation going.

RE: Welcome South African Frenzies

Hi Cali and others

Moonblue here from Grahamstown. I am so glad they have changed the month. Last year I really wanted to do it, signed up, but June is just a crazy month for me so I gave up after a couple of days. Here's hoping that April will be better.

Yay Moonblue!

I'm just glad that it's not deadset in the middle of winter anymore. I remember my fingers wanting to fall off last year when I was forced to do most of the writing at 2am cause I suck and lost track of the daily goal.

RE: Welcome South African Frenzies

Hey Cali...

You know me. :) I wasn't going to do this, but you convinced me.

My script is either going to be for the comic I've wanted to do (a serious, life-based family genre'd story), or the one I've wanted to do on Welsh Mythology since last year. Or I'll combine both, throw in some Ninja Space Pirates, chew some weed brownies and hope for the best.

Know that if I get so much as 50 pages out of this it'll be a miracle. I work 10 hours a day every day, and I teach preschool. Go me. @___@

GOOD LUCK everyone! Hope it's going to be as much fun as it normally is!
