Central Maine Write-Ins

Hey all. I know April is fast approaching but I would like to know everyone's opinion on where and when we should meet for write-ins in the Central Maine area.

Right now I have figured either go back to Borders or try the Bangor Public Library instead (the library does have free wi-fi, which is a bonus.) Borders is easier to find being in the Bangor Mall area and just off the interstate and the library is downtown with street or paid parking.

As for times, considering that scripting doesn't seem as popular as novelizing, I had figured Saturday only from either 9am-2pm or 12pm-5pm.

Just let me know what you think about this because by Friday I need to approach whichever place is chosen to reserve space there for the write-ins.

Thanks to all Mainers for taking the time to check this out. Let's make '08 a year for Maine to outshine the others.

I am here for another round of script writing for 2008 :)
Here is hoping to see many people joining us at the posted Saturday meetings to share talks and writing together. :)

I guess, since no one else's responded except for Tiki and Rigel, we'll be holding write-ins at the library on Saturday's from 1-5. Here is the library's website: http://www.bpl.lib.me.us/

RE: Central Maine Write-Ins

Hey, as far as write-ins go, I'm going to try to be at the Barnes and Noble in Augusta every Tuesday and Thursday around 7:30pm or so. Other days I have work, and I might be getting a job soon that'll mean I can't be there, but tomorrow and next week at least, I'll be in the café near the pillar. (Because the pillar has an outlet in it.) I'll be bringing a power-strip with me that people can plug into, if they want.

Don't know how many Frenzies are here in the Augusta area, but come on down!

OK..I'm in. I live in Fairfield. I write short Christian plays/skits/mini-dramas. 100 pages will mean writing ALOT of material, but my butt is in the chair and my fingers are on the keyboard.

If we can keep all the grandparents healthy, I will do this!

Hmmm. Maybe a script about elder care....
