Top 10? I dont know that I can list that many, TTTT, but let's see:
(in no particular order)
1. TWICE UPON A TIME
2. ALL THAT JAZZ
3. Mel Gibson's HAMLET (vastly under-rated, IMHO)
4. DAS BOOT
5. SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS
6. O LUCKY MAN
7. LIFE OF BRIAN
8. FIGHT CLUB
9. RAN
10. MOULIN ROUGE
Bottom 10? Here's where we think more in genres, IMHO. Again, in no particular order, since all of them are wastes of time:
1. Anything by Tyler Perry
2. Anything "inspirational" (Enough already!)
3. Anything that was bullet-proof on Broadway translated to the screen (Think of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, THE PRODUCERS, RENT, and SWEENEY TODD)
4. Political films that never have the cajones to fully embrace the ideas presented
5. *Almost* anything with Will Smith (would someone give this man a role where he'll actually stretch a bit?)
6. "Poor boy goes to big rich school and teaches everyone tolerance and happiness through step dancing"
I cant think of anything more. My brain hurts right now just thinking of these six.
