South Bay Write-ins

So, Frenziers, what days/places work best for you for write-ins?

Orchard Valley Coffee in Campbell on Sunday afternoons? Coffee Society in Cupertino on Thursday evenings? Red Rock in Mountain View on Wednesday evenings?

If you have a preference or suggestion, please chime in.

RE: South Bay Write-ins

I would prefer Cupertino or Mountain View, since that's closer to where I live. Weekends would certainly be more convenient though.

I'll throw in another suggestion: the Bean Scene in Sunnyvale on Saturdays

Enough options I'd say!

RE: South Bay Write-ins

Year-round write-ins go on on Sundays at OVC in Campbell 3-6pm, Tuesdays at Barnes and Noble on Almaden Expressway in San Jose 9am-12pm, and Thursdays at Barefoot Coffee in Cupertino 12-3pm.

I'm totally okay with Saturday Write-ins with the exception of the 19th.

RE: South Bay Write-ins

So we've got a wealth of potential times:

Tuesdays at Barnes and Noble on Almaden Expressway in San Jose 9am-12 pm
Wednesdays at Red Rock in Mountain View 7-10 pm
Thursdays at Barefoot Coffee in Cupertino 12-3 pm
Thursdays at Coffee Society in Cupertino 7-10 pm
Saturdays the Bean Scene in Sunnyvale (preference Arike?)
Sundays at OVC in Campbell 3-6 pm

Which of the above will people NOT be able to attend? (I can't make the ones during the work day).

RE: South Bay Write-ins

I just remembered that I can't make Wednesday nights anymore. I can be everywhere else though. ALL AT ONCE. Well, not really.

RE: South Bay Write-ins

I am bound to weekends, unfortunately, so I will be bound to Saturday (Sunnyvale), Sunday (Campbell), or the occasional Thursday evening.

BTW, I looked up Campbell on the map. It's a little far, but I can totally make that by bike. I thought it was somewhere halfway up the peninsula. Goes to show what I know about topography -_-;

RE: South Bay Write-ins

Sunday at the OVC has a tradition and it would be nice to continue that tradition. I think it is the only write-in that goes on all year long uninterrupted. I just love going to the farmer's market in Campbell and afterwards meet my writing buddies at OVC. So, yes, definitely you will find me there, no matter how much I have to spend on gas to rattle down from Killroy.

Thursday Coffee Society: It's across the street from my office and therefore duable
I also love the Barefoot. However, I am a working girl and can't do the mornings and afternoons on work days.
Mountain View is always fun but kinda drive for me. I will try to show up one or two times.

RE: South Bay Write-ins

It looks like we have a consensus for the following write-ins:

Sundays at OVC in Campbell 3-6 pm
Thursdays at Coffee Society in Cupertino 7-10 pm

If you can't make either of these and would like another option, please post a reply here.

Three days to FADE IN!

RE: South Bay Write-ins

Those will work for me. I will not be able to come every time, but I'll show up as much as I can.
