I know I am! Being the hopelessly optomistic person I am, I like to think if my script was ever made into a movie, the original music could be nominated for an Academy Award!^.^ Is anyone else like this?

I love composing music. I will for sure be writing my soundtrack. I'll just have to get over the problem of composing for orchestra... I'm more of a band person myself. I've never really composed any orchstra pieces.

I'll probably end up writing something to go with my screenplay, though I can't say how much would be soundtrack material, and how much would be "inspired by" material. If anyone can manage a demo recording or two in April, it would be neat to hear the moods that go with your words.

Any Jazz/Blues composers around here?

I recognise you from the forums. I'm Mal at FAWM. I would have been Mal here, but the registration database insisted that I already existed. I'll get me over to the Writing Groups things and find your thread. There are an handful of us here that I know of.
