You can start them for any reason, but a great one may to be to make it easier to find people in your region! Some of us seem to be Catonsville/Columbia centric, but start posts with your county name, city name, or entire region -- whatever feels like home to you!

Also you can start some to share some ideas, some links, some frustrations, whatever!
