Parody and brainstorms

I'm doing a graphic novel this year, but think it would be fun to write a few rituals for a parody religion of my own invention. The graphic novel has a comedy theme. Did a stage play last year.

I'm, also, wondering if there would be a way to create some kind of fantasy/ role-play game that involved a script. I've always wanted to create some kind of game - but not a computer game.

RE: Parody and brainstorms

What did games like Dungeons & Dragons have (script-wise)? I guess they didn't have a strict script, but they had guidelines on what would happen and what to say, didn't they?

RE: Parody and brainstorms

Sadly, I am so ancient that I've never played Dungeons and Dragons - grin. We played board games way back when. Yes, checkers and Monopoly and such things.

I figured there might be some kind of script along with the play books.
I probably played a couple kinds of games a few times when I was a nanny - some kind of vampire card game, and perhaps GURPS. I know I did a lot of running around to game stores and comic book shops with the kids.

Hey, maybe I could make a game to go along with my Graphic Novel/Comic - "Senior Delinquents". Or some kind of parody on gaming /Sci. Fi./SCA type thing. I do go to some local Sci.Fi. / Fantasy conventions.
I think "Senior Delinquents" would be original or something based on a parody religion would be fun.

Hey, thanks for your input!

Right now I want to finish the comics/GN. I'm too lazy to go to Wikipedia and read the intricate details of gaming.
