Let's post some mini-excerpts here. I'm dying to understand Kimby's hampster POV, as well as see all the other cool stuff everyone's up to.

My stuff's on my home laptop, but I'll probably manage to get something on here eventually too.

This is the hamster part, so far:
FOLLOW a hamster, LEON, in a little hamster ball down the hall to a white door. Door opens to a sunny yellow bedroom. Camera turns to who we are walking with. SPENCER KNIPPER 31 years old, male not conventionally good looking, but "nerd cute. He's wearing a lab coat and a mug in his hand. Note a wedding ring.

Leon gets more screen time, throughout because apparently that's where he lives in the ball, but I think when Kate comes back to Kate's body he is going to get a bigger scene. There's a part I want to show but it's seriously long....

OK, mine is based on true events...

Fade in: the village, the season is now fall. A small group of horsemen gallop up, two of them carrying captive children in front of them on their mounts. They stop suddenly, stirring up clouds of dust and dismount. Several women and children run up to the men, peppering them with questions and inspecting the white children with them.

Man 1

Wife, take this girl and wash her. She is dirty and may be injured.

He shoves the child toward his wife.

Ellen

(grudgingly)

Why have you brought this white child? I don't like her light eyes. She will be trouble and she will disobey. I can see it in her face.

MAN 1

Then it will be your job to teach her our language and our ways and to make sure she doesn't cause trouble. Now take her and do as I say.

ANNa

Husband, you too, have brought a white girl home?

Man 2

These children are the only ones left and were too young to kill. Their families are gone now. We couldn't leave them alone to die.

ANNA

You could have left them. And yet you did not. I would have. (she snorts)

MAN 2

Hush, woman and take this child with the other. They are dusty and probably hungry as well. See that they are cared for and have a place to sleep tonight. No excuses.

Oooh, fun! I'll try to remember to bring mine tomorrow. Still don't have a lap top at home, or any working computer for that matter. I should be procuring a lap top in the next week or so, though. Yay!

I have dialogue. I love this scene and I don't know why. I think it's because Spencer as a superhero is such a sad character and pre-this scene you see him ordering people around, but this scene you see the reason why he likes to be in control and how much he cares. And it's pregnant Katherine in superhero's body. So she hasn't been shot before this.
int. helicopter

SPENCER's shirt is off. His skin is super pale and his skin is peeling, like a bad sunburn. KATHERINE's abs are bleeding. MARNIE places her on the floor of the helicopter. SPENCER's skin in the abs area, where KATHERINE is shot, is extra peely. SPENCER has a pained look on his face.

SPENCER

How you feeling?

KATHERINE

Like I've been shot. Holy Crud!

SPENCER

Yeah, I can feel that. Hold on.

SPENCER grabs a pair of tweezers from a cubbie in the floor of the helicopter, and pulls out the bullet. KATHERINE lets out a primal in pain scream.

SPENCER

Calm down, this is fine.

KATHERINE

I've been shot! You're taking the bullet out with a pair of tweezers that you found on the floor of this helicopter! They could be rusty!

SPENCER

And your heightened pain is causing me to go nuts. Calm down.

SPENCER pulls a layer of skin off his torso/abs, then places it on KATHERINE's wound. He does this a few times.

KATHERINE

Totally unsanitary.

SPENCER

If I take you to the hospital, they'll take your blood, thus DNA. Unsanitary or not, this is your only option.

KATHERINE makes a squeamish face.

CAMERA looks at the skin that SPENCER is placing on KATHERINE, the skin is fading into her skin, healing her. SPENCER peels off another layer of skin from his body and places it on her.

KATHERINE

This is the grossest thing ever!

SPENCER

It's no picnic for me either.

SPENCER looks at what he's done.

SPENCER

I know you really enjoy this cat mentality, but... you don't have nine lives.
