Adaptations en Francais

I am a French teacher and have been using a drama-based program with the kids which is working really well. Most of the plays in the kit are adaptations of fairy tales, which gives you an advantage with second language learning because the kids already know the story. Only problem is, new kits cost $500 each! For just a play with worksheets! So this year I am going to use Script Frenzy to write some of my own. I already have ready-to-go versions of:

- The Three Little Pigs
- The Three Bears
- The Little Red Hen

I am currently working on Wizard of Oz for my older class (and workshopping it with them as I go!) and want to write a few more for the littler ones. Suggestions?

RE: Adaptations en Francais

Sounds like a great idea. What about Little Red Riding Hood? I always liked that one. Did you ever think of writing adaptations to the tales that have been made into disney movies - Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White? (Not sure if those would be faery tales though). I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you! :)
