Is it true that keeping the ScriptFrenzy a secret all month is supposed to inspire a few members, designated as "experimental SF guinea pigs," to see if they will attempt to write their whole script on the last day of the Frenzy?

I have no spam blockers preventing junk, so I can't really blame my internet provider.

The answer would be no. We don't have any experimental guinea pigs. We do, however, have small children that we occasionally test our theories on...

I see you are a moderator... I believe I wrote tech support.... but they have not yet replied.

Basically, is there a way I can find out whether SF sent out any emails en masse this month? The last one I saw was dated 3/21. And then if they did send any out, is something disabled or set wrong with my account? (Last time there was a Nanowrimo, thre were regular emails throughout the month... it seemed they were the people running it... trying to encourage you throughtout the month, whether you were subscribed to other threads or not.... which is what I suppose I was expecting in this aase, too.)

I would like to double check these things, b/c I am hoping to somehow completely miss the boat again next year and want to make no technical issue stands in the way of that.

Yes, there were indeed emails sent out, at least once per week. I know I got them. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have gotten them; they should be sent to the email address associated with your profile. Check that; is it your most current email address, and is your profile set to receive emails?

By the way, I'm going to move this to the tech help forum, since it isn't really a suggestion.

As for the small children... we don't use older ones because they can tattle...
