ScrenzFiMo

So... I'm assuming I'm not the only one (with or without a winner's status) who hasn't finished their script yet. And, for me, May's the month to do so. There's NaNoFiMo and NaNoCoMo for novels, but there's not a real group of Screnzy-contiuants. (That may not be a word. But it is now.)

For those of you who don't know those acronyms, NaNoFiMo takes place in December, and stands for National Novel Finishing Month. The goal there is to add 30k more onto your novel. NaNoCoMo is a year round forum for those who want to go beyond NaNoFiMo, and continually work on their novel through adding wordcount and editing.

My goal is to write about one page per day for the rest of the month until my plot is done. Then it'll be an EdMo during June, once I've finished. What about the rest of you?

RE: ScrenzFiMo

I'm continuing to write my TV show through-out this month, as well. I hope to get at least 4 eppies written (like this month).

Good luck with your ScrenzyFiMo:)

I'm still finishing my comic script, too. Still a ways to go.

RE: ScrenzFiMo

I'm still doing my NaNoWriMo novels this month. I've finally gotten my Muse back into battle, so my rewrite of Bad Company (NaNo '07) is going very smoothly, with the new scenes and plot elements fitting the previously disjointed story together pretty much for the first time. I'm also doing a near-complete rewrite of '06 novel Black Science.

June will probably be my "EdMo" for Spanner. I need to get drawing this month, since I'll be doing thumbnail layouts when I rewrite the script. Also, I'm doing some world building in my blog; I need to put in some backstory I foolishly left out while writing the script last month.

I'm still working on my comic script, too, and probably will be well into the summer.

RE: ScrenzFiMo

Yep; took time off for other things, but tonight I'm getting back in the saddle. Screenplay's nowhere near finished at 101 pages; still needs the action sequences and transitional scenes, or it'll just be a jumble of really long dialogue scenes.

RE: ScrenzFiMo

I am nowhere nears finished. I still have scenes and lyrics (depending on whether it's still a musical or a comic) to write, as well as plot surgery to do. I started all of this earlier in the month, but the procrastination monster has caught up with me, and well... let's just say I need to get on the ball.

RE: ScrenzFiMo

I am determined to really finish one of my NaNo/SF projects for the first time, and even though I got it "done" and 87 pages, it is still rather crappy. (And by 'rather' I mean 'very'.) For now, since I am busy, I am putting it down for most of this month so I can come back and look at it fresh in a few weeks. The end of May will be used for a bit of clean up, then I'll let my sister read it and see what she thinks, (and if I'm lucky I might be able to get it workshopped at Balitcon :D) and then a ton of revising. So there's my summer project.

I will finish it! I swear I will!!
