SCENE HEADING THE NEXT DAY

If you're in the same place but it's just the next day, is it necessary to place a new scene heading or can you just indication in the action, THE NEXT DAY. Problem is the characters may be returning to the place, not spending the night and may have changed their clothes (production issue). Thanks!

RE: SCENE HEADING THE NEXT DAY

If it was the same place, your scene heading would probably look like this

INT. Dining Room- the next day

Unfortuantly, you do have to put a new slug line for every scene that you write.

RE: SCENE HEADING THE NEXT DAY

That helps! I have seen examples of 10 MINUTES LATER, HOUR LATER, etc. embedded in the action. But never THE NEXT DAY. I think I'll take your advice and do a new slugline. Thanks!
