My boyfriend's at drama school and we keep jokily discussing who would play who from his class. I pretty much have a cast list in mind now which is a bit crazy!
I keep thinking if i actually manage to finish my script i might try and stage it for charity - but who knows?

Anyone else thinking along these lines? Or is anyone actually doing screnzy because of a theatre group?

I've had similer thoughts, but i have no connection to a theater group so its a lil' hard to imagine it realistically but i've always wanted to do a REAL show....

I'm starting a theatre group in the fall and I'm hoping I can get my show produced in the fall of 2011. The only reason I'm putting it that far out is because I want to have all of 2010 to do workshopping and development on my script.

Although I've done Nanowrimo several times, I had no idea about Script Frenzy until the day before it started. I pitched the idea of a musical to a group of multi-talented friends early last month, and it all boiled down to me writing the script. So here I am. We plan to stage this in November. Quite honestly, if we weren't staging it I won't bother writing one! ;)

Actually, that was the whole point!

A children's choir I help coach put on their first musical last year, and this year I asked to write the script myself with a bit of help in the music and directing/casting/producing area. I'm 17, and this is the first time I've written a full-length play of any kind, let alone a musical.

I... I'd like to have my musical performed when it's finished, but A) it will be after a LOT of revising and B) given the nature of it, it requires a lot of actors/actresses, so I dunno if I could get together enough people...
