Dear Script Frenzy participant,
I can't believe it is over already! I miss April! Do you miss it, too?
It is always hard to explain to folks who didn't participate how something that adds work and stress to your life can be missed so deeply when it is gone. It was such a great Script Frenzy. Thank you for being part of it!
And a big thank you to everyone who donated! You rock our world. I am hugging you through the computer. HUUUUUUUG!
If you haven't donated yet, please do. Script Frenzy is funded almost exclusively by participant donations and this year we are coming up terrifyingly short of being able to cover our expenses. Even if you can only swing $10—the cost of a movie ticket—it would make a huge difference. Please make a tax-deductible, good-karma donation now.
In other news, we have some post-writing-sprint goodies:
- Participant survey. We would love to hear your thoughts on this year's event. Your feedback helps us plan for next year. Don't be shy!
- Winner's page. Check out the glorious list of triumphant winners!
- I Wrote A Script, Now What? Getting to FADE OUT doesn't mean the frenzied madness must stop. There is still much to do! (Like working on the next draft!) If you are revising, check out Revision Frenzy and the Script Frenzy and Beyond forums.
Before we all head off to new adventures, I'd like to ask you to think about how you felt on your best writing day last month. Remember how great that was? The rush of creativity, the bigness of possibility, your power to do anything. Anything! At that moment you turned your potential to do something into a tangible, concrete piece of work.
No matter what you're up to next, keep that can-do feeling close. You are capable of amazing things!
I had a blast creating, inventing, and adventuring alongside all of you.
I can't wait for Script Frenzy 2010!
Happy adventuring,
Jen
