When I was little I had a Book About Me - one of those books you get to write in, (favorite color, what you want to be when you grow up, etc.) and in the pets section I wrote in that I had a turtle.

I never had a turtle. I still have the book.

I'm sure that means something...

Well, that clinches it. I'll put a pet turtle into my script, and name her Charlotte in remembrance of your ex-best friend's turtle. I bet that'll even count for a good half a page of script to introduce the character - only 99 1/2 more pages to come up with!

I've always wanted a turtle. In one of those awesome massive tanks that's half land, half deep water, and I'd also have sea horses in it as well as tropical fish and pretty starfish.

They sold sea horses at my local pet shop. They were about $120 Australian though D:

Next time I get pets (which will be a long time I hope cause I promised not to get any more pets until one of my three cats died.....), I want a tank with some fish and turtles and maybe another tank with a cool lizard.

My brother and his fiance have 5 turtles. Two are fairly large, the other three are about the size of a saucer. The tank kind of makes their apartment smell like a pond though
