RE: Adopt-a-Character

Marion Ipswitch: A high-class chef forced to work in a diner (or something equally demeaning for someone of her talents) due to a freak accident involving lasagna, a glockenspiel and an old-school eggbeater.

RE: Adopt-a-Character

Girl. In her teens or twenties. Has a deep secret that influences everything she does (you decide what it is). Strange; odd. Refuses to wear black (because it's overused). Refuses to wear jeans (because they're overused). Speaks her mind (even when it's unnecessary and may sound immature). Respectful, but not polite. Compassionate, but not always nice. Acts immature, but only because she's wise about the ways of the world. Doesn't care what people think of her (really doesn't), so she wears all manner of weird clothes: baggy sweatpants, doesn't comb her hair, etc. She talks like a hillbilly so that she can prove to others that labels don't match.

RE: Adopt-a-Character

Young man, in his teens, possibly a high school senior. A good kid. His stepfather is a vietnam war veteran and runs the house like the military. The young man is very much a pacifist, anti-war, save-the-world type. They fight like cats and dogs. The young man has a history of being sent to, and kicked out of, boarding schools.

RE: Adopt-a-Character

actuall he was a science teacher I think, or was it history... anyway he was the teacher who shared a name with another teacher (naturally we ellected to not anger the gnome, and called the other teacher Stubby). Yes I'm serious we had a teacher who was under 4 foot seven, balding head and super light blond beard and hair but baling on top. Pale skin as can be, eccept the rosey chees and nose. He had that pudgy cute thing going that gnomes have too.

about the kilt I'm not sure, but he seems the type to enjoy sushi.

ah fond memories.

How about my physics teacher, who really knew how to engage students in the sciences. His teaching style was inclusive and encouraged trying to think and experiment. I remember one time I came back to the lab to talk to him about something and ther he was, tie twisted around back and safety goggles on, there was a loud pop and a mini steam cannon scooted back across the bench. he whooped and hopped up and down for a bit. He was experimenting alone in the labs and got genuinely excited about the experiments. One of the best teachers I ever had.

Hillary "Bananaman" Taylor:

200 pounds of muscle and rage. Cursed with the name Hillary. The last person who asked where he got his unusual nickname is currently six feet under. The jury is out on whether Bananaman put him there or not. Likes cats, long walks on the beach, and his custom-made truck that he affectionately calls 'Crusher'. Hates you.

Yes, you.

Adopt if you dare.

RE: Adopt-a-Character

Old man, who has a collection of false teeth and is trying (and failing) to sell them on eBay to make his fortune. Abnormally tall. Has only one ear (the other was blown off in a home chemistry experiment gone wrong, and now resides at the back of his freezer), so makes up for his hearing impairment by talking twice as much. Has recently joined a polka dancing class.

Taking the Old Man and Marion Ipswitch. :D

Leaving:

Lola. She's thirty seven years old, has years of fake tanning behind her, and is a home economics teacher. Her secret ingredient for her lovely burritos? Past students internal organs.
