Are there any SF screenwriters who'd like to participate in a write-in?

I'd like to propose Thursday nights at Cafe Petra (on Guerrero in The Mission between 16th and 17th Street) from 7-10pm... I'll host it if there is sufficient interest.

Yes, I can meet then in April most Thursdays.

How do you want to structure the meetup? Bring laptops and write, or more than that?

Also, how big is the place? I can put out a call to the general SF Bay area through the Muncipal Liaison program and see who else wants to come...

Yup, just bring laptops and write. We can start and end with a little bit of conversation but mostly just write. Cafe Petra is pretty small but we did this for NaNoWriMo 2006-07 and it worked out ok. They have limited outlets for laptops so I'll bring a power-strip.

Btw, I said 7-10 but Cafe Petra closes at 9 so we'll have to end at 9pm.

I'm also open to other suggestions... in The Mission somewhere would be good since it's pretty central (and also where I live :)

I'd be interested. If it is in the mission can you make it near one of the bart stations as i live and work downtown and don't drive.

Cafe Petra is a few blocks away from 16-th Street BART, J-Church, and several bus lines.

I'm in!

I'll be there on April 3rd from 7-9pm... my picture is on the site. Look for an East Indian girl with long black hair - it's a small place so shouldn't be too hard to find me.

I was at Cafe Petra, on April 3, from about 6:45 to closing time at 9pm and nobody showed up. So, I don't plan on going there again.

I would be interested in meeting here to write this Thursday and thereafter in April. I live in the Mission district. If you aren't too disinclined after last week, I'd love to meet up and write collectively, and Thursday evenings are the idea night of the week for me. I have a couple of other preferred work locations as well. You can usually find me at Muddy Waters Coffee House on Valencia near 24th street on my days off (Thursday - Saturday.)
