RE: Hello,!

Howdy!

I'm also doing Script Frenzy this year - I usually live in the Maritimes but right now I'm living in Sydney, Australia for a semester of school. I am with you all in spirit, though!

Anybody else have any idea what they're writing? I have two ideas so far (I think I'll write a bunch of short scripts - maybe three or four of them). One idea is to have two characters waiting in an airport and conversing, maybe with no other actors at all. The other is to stage a show that looks only "behind the scenes" - ie: shows what happens in the wings, and people go OFF-stage when their character is going ON-stage, etc - and only shows the physical gestures and inner monologues of the characters, since it isn't easy to talk backstage during a performance.

RE: Hello,!

Hi!
Maybe we could be writing buddies, I saw that you can do that! heumm well yeah I have four or five Different Ideas. One of my ideas was acually kinda like your backstage one but the story I had in mine was Way to complicated and It remended me too much of rent so I changed Ideas. I REALLY LOVE the two charecters waiting in an airport!! I think you could go really far with that one!! (don't worry I won't steal it:) ) But I am Wirting a Screenplay just beacause I've done some acting for films so I'm used to that! I have a pretty good Idea on the kind of story I want to do, I'm not shure about the details yet but I'll probably wirte about moving or high school scince i'm familiar with those situations!

- Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE it just Hasen't been done yet.

RE: Hello,!

Hello from Fredericton!

Cass, both ideas sound fun!

My idea is a graphic novel loosely based on something that happened to me in middle school. It's about a girl that likes to "encourage" her friends' love lives by writing love letters to the guys. Her friends try to turn the tables, but our hero tries to turn the tables by naming the most popular guy in school -- knowing that her friends wouldn't have the guts to approch him -- or would they?
