Prom???

Is anyone else REALLY excited for prom? Anyone have any dates, a dress/tux already bought/rented, plans all set? I'm really excited, because my mom is making my dress, and we picked the pattern today, and it's really cute. So, if anyone wants to share their excitement for their prom, come!

RE: Prom???

I'm very excited for prom, actually.
I find this strange because prom is something that I'd typically blow off. I don't even have a date or a dress and I don't like where it's taking place (beach), but I'm still very, very excited.

RE: Prom???

I have a date, this euphonium player who is known for having several lady friends at once. I don't care. He's taller than me and we can get along for a few hours. Plus, he's friends with my best friend's date.

RE: Prom???

I'll probably go to prom just because this is my senior year, and prom at my school is mostly for the seniors. Plus, I helped pick out the backdrop and decorations, so it's not like it'll be an eyesore for me :P

RE: Prom???

Fairyworld - hemmed? Wow, you're lucky. I have the opposite problem. I'm like, twelve feet tall (I exaggerate slightly), so in years past I've had to wear flats, or cut the dress to tea length (which actually turned out cute), but this year I wanted a full length one, so my mom is making it. So it will be long enough. Grr, stupid height.

Operator: I don't understand... why are you not happy it's at a beach? I would LOVE it at a beach. Maybe it comes with living away from a beach, you appreciate them more?

RE: Prom???

Yeah, it's mostly a location thing. I don't live right on the beach, but I'm there often, and so is nearly everyone else I know. >.< I'm just being a pill about it, it'll probably be just fine.

RE: Prom???

I think my prom is at the zoo... last I heard, anyway. That will be fun for my allergies. Last year was cool, it was at a science center (I'm a science nerd). It will be fun to see what this years will be like.

RE: Prom???

I'm incredibly excited. I have my dress and shoes, which I was able to get pretty cheap, and I'm going to try to make it on prom court even though it's kind of stupid. (My school picks the prom court by lottery.)

RE: Prom???

See, I'm English, so we don't have 'proms', but the year 11s (15-16s) in most schools have a valedictory. And tis mine this year =D

Got everything sorted; dress, bag and shoes (all from Florida!), jewellery and limo (booked!) Can't wait =)

Smile and remember to be happy
